Geert Veuskens is a freelance film and video editor. Recent projects include the feature documentary Breathless - about people living in the shadow of the worldwide asbestos industry; Friedrich Moser's new documentary feature Beer! - a deep dive into the international beer industry and the second most consumed beverage on the globe; The Adoration - a TV-documentary about theatre author Milo Rau and Dance With A Bullet - a documentary shot over 10 years about an Iraqi dancer.

In South Africa, Geert works with Emmy-award winning documentary filmmaker Rehad Desai. Geert co-edited three documentaries about contemporary South Africa: How To Steal A Country - a rags-to-riches story involving political influence, corruptible politicians and a host of well-known multinationals prepared to benefit from state capture in South Africa; Everything Must Fall - an unflinching look at the #FeesMustFall student movement and The Giant Is Falling - a documentary that takes us through the big political events of recent years that signify the dying days of the ANC in South Africa. The Giant Is Falling won a South African Film and Television Awards for best editing.

Geert has been working closely with Docwerkers as an editor on documentaries and commissioned non-fiction work. His credits include Buy Buy Europe - a documentary web series about the European financial and economic crisis and Mathilde's Misses - a documentary about a beauty pageant for homeless women.

Since 2011 Geert has also been working as an editor of (online) video work for various production companies. He lives in Brussels, Belgium.
