Biography

Geert Veuskens is an editor specializing in documentary films, series, and short films. Over the past decade, he has worked on a variety of projects, from investigative journalism to character-driven narratives, in collaboration with filmmakers from Belgium, South Africa, and beyond. His work has been broadcast on prominent platforms such as ARTE, DR, SVT, Al Jazeera, VRT CANVAS, RTBF and ZDF, and showcased at esteemed festivals, including IDFA, One World, Cinekid, Movies That Matter, Docville and MOOV.

Geert’s work has been recognized with several awards, including two South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) for Best Editing and a win for Best Documentary at the ENSORS in 2019. Having started his career in various production and post-production roles within the documentary field, Geert combines a strong sense of storytelling with technical expertise. He works closely with a network of post-production professionals to deliver high-quality results.

In addition to editing, Geert is a guest lecturer at the RITCS School of Arts, where he provides practical insights into both storytelling and the editing process.
